Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 114! Monday, May 31 – MEMORIAL DAY PARADE: Meeting in front of the town hall at 9:00 am. Parade starts at 9:30am and ends around 11:00am. Proceeds to the center of town and then to Mountain View Cemetery. There is usually a National Guard fly over, which is a big hit with the kids. Scouts should wear their full uniforms, sunscreen and comfortable shoes. Water bottles are a good idea as the boys get hot. Parents are welcome to march with their boys.
Sunday, June 13 – GRADUATION: Graduation is at East Lodge at Treasure Valley starting at 4pm. Pot luck supper with hot dogs and hamburgers provided. After dinner, we will go to the campfire ring for a campfire, a flag retirement ceremony, and our graduation ceremony. For the Flag Retirement Ceremony, if you have an old, ripped, faded, COTTON flag, please bring it with you to the graduation. At that the campfire we will appropriately cut the flag and burn the pieces. At the graduation ceremony, the boys will ‘cross the bridge’ and receive the neckerchief and slide for their next rank. |
