 Scout Sunday at St. Mary’s Sunday, February 5th Please note: Due to the Patriots game (just another game per Belicheck) the Scout Sunday Mass at St. Mary’s this Sunday is now the 11am Mass. Pews are reserved in the front so Scouts and Scout Leaders in Class A uniforms may sit in the reserved pews. Scouts interested in attending should arrive in Class A uniform 10 minutes prior to the mass. _______________________________________________________________ Ecotarium Overnight this Saturday, February 4th Arrival/Check-in at Ecotarium Please arrive at the Ecotarium between 6 and 6:30pm. The gates to the Ecotarium will open at 6pm and be closed by 7pm. They will remain locked during the night but can be unlocked for anyone who has an emergency during the night and needs to leave. More info will be provided by Ecotarium staff. Larger than twin size must be shared between two people due to space restraints. One suggestion to purchase is at Ocean State Job Lot) - Sleepwear - Warm clothes for a morning outdoor walk or night viewing of stars - Water bottle - Change of clothes - Flashlight
The Night Journey staff does not control the temperature in the building so we suggest dressing in layers. There are bathrooms and sinks, but no showers. What to expect Healthy snacks (Nutri-Grain bars, fruit, animal crackers, water) are served at 9 p.m. Or bring your own. We're up early (6:00 am) for breakfast. (Cereal or instant oatmeal, fruit, muffins, bagels and coffee and juice). If you have food allergies you may wish to bring your own food. We'll be "camping" among the exhibits. All children receive a souvenir EcoTarium patch and a child's ticket for a free visit to the museum. Food for Thought Cafe: Vending machines inside the museum's Food for Thought Cafe are stocked with a selection of drinks, snacks and light lunches or breakfast items, including yogurt, muffins, fruit and sandwiches. Mission to Mars egg drop challenge, telescope viewing (weather dependent), make a telescope, read star map. Morning Animal Tour After the continental breakfast, you will be able to see the animals in our outdoor exhibit area. The tour will take place regardless of the weather, so dress warmly and appropriately for all weather types. Raincoats or winter boots may be required. Departure Time The Program will end at 8:00 am.
